The Apple Core has been involved in many leagues from the day we debuted as an organization to the present day with the same goal in mind to push players to the next level in their hockey careers.

As we look back on thirty years we would like to share our appreciation and gratitude for all players, staff members, and league administrators that we have met and worked with over the years. We also would like to notice all of our successes starting off with our early success in winning the two National Jr. B Championships in 1996, & 2010 and The EJHL Triple Crown in 2003. To top that, the Apple Core would also recognize all our alumni as they played a huge part in making a name for the Apple Core as one of the top junior programs on the east coast and at the tier III level. It’s safe to say the Apple Core name is known throughout the hockey world since our debut at Long Beach Arena to our current home at Brewster Ice Arena.

Apple Core has serviced the local player pool for years and has been proactive in developing new ideas for player development. The Apple Core MET, which plays in the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League, has molded many players for the EHL. Many of our heroes started on the MET team as young players. They benefited from the excellent instruction and practices which are provided. Many of those players have moved up through the ranks also.
