The New York Applecore Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Chris Stangarone was selected as an Eastern Hockey League Star of the Week for his performance against the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack on Sunday December 4, 2016. The White Plains, NY native stopped 53 of 54 shots, securing the 2 to 1 victory for the Core and earning the weekend split against the Wolfpack. It is the goaltender’s first league award this season. Congratulations to Chris who responded to his award by stating,“ I couldn’t have done it without a hard working group of guys.”
