RYAN CRUTHERS NOMINATED FOR
2008 HOBEY BAKER AWARD

   Congratulations are in order for Apple Core Alum Ryan Cruthers of Robert
   Morris University on his nomination for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award,
   College Hockey's highest honor. Ryan, a top forward for Robert Morris
   University, a Div. 1 program in Moon, PA. Ryan was a key player on the 2003
   Triple Crown Championship team. Ryan will be graduating this spring and is
   on the all-academic team. "Professor" Cruthers will pursue pro hockey
   opportunities after graduating.

 
    The Hobey Baker award is the top honor for a College Hockey player and is
    awarded each year to the top College player in the nation as voted by the
    coaches and media. There is fan voting too, accounting for a part of the vote,
    so vote for Ryan at www.hobeybaker.com. On the website is a history of the
    award, past winners and great articles about college hockey.
 
    Ryan was a great Apple Core player and has now continued his Junior success
    at the College level, and hopefully at the professional level.
